Our client is a spin-off Start-up Company with roots at the renowned University of Heidelberg with approximately 50 employees and an aggressive growth plan. Our client delivers cutting-edge products to the high-performance interconnect IP market. They are currently building an R&D and Design Team in Thessaloniki. Therefore we are looking to recruit on behalf of them several Senior  Analog – Mixed Signal Design Engineers.

Job description:

  • Own analog /mixed-signal and digital/full-custom building blocks
  • Complete design and implementation of analog / mixed-signal and full-custom circuits including schematics, layout, test benches and simulation
  • Support the verification team in creating functional and real-number models (RNM)
  • Support the layout implementation
  • Contribute and participate in the continuous improvement of an innovative and automated full-custom work-flow
  • Work closely and cross-functional across different groups to support a successful and on-time product release

Candidate profile:

  • Master or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Engineering with emphasis on hardware design
  • + 3 years of work experience, including internships
  • Full-custom layout implementation experience
  • Working experience in advanced process nodes is a plus (FDSOI, FinFet)
  • Insight to Serializer / Deserializer design and related functionality (PLL, analog frontend) is a plus
  • Hands-on RTL coding is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English

Further technical skills (nice to have, as much as possible):

  • Cadence design flow and full-custom EDA tools, in particular Virtuoso, Spectre, and Spice simulations
  • Specification driven design (ADE Assembler)
  • Script programming languages such as Python and TCL
