Οur US-based client is operating in the hospitality industry and plans to οpen a new grand, luxurious restaurant based on Greek island tastes and dishes, in November 2022. The restaurant is located in the exotic Cayman Islands, Caribbean Sea. Therefore, we are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Pizza Chef.
- Responsible for pizza kitchen operations to ensure culinary excellence in preparation and presentation of food products
- Close collaboration and training of the rest Chef de Partie involved in the pizza preparation
- Helping in the preparation and design of the pizza menu
- Producing high quality plates both design and taste wise
- Ensuring that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets quality standards
- Resourcefully solving any issues that arise and seizing control of any problematic situation
- Managing the entire food supply chain, inventory and all related purchases
- Complying with and enforcing sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related certificate is mandatory
- Managerial skills
- At least 3 years of experience as a Pizza Chef
- Proven previous experience in a Gourmet or Michelin restaurant
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- Fluency in Greek and English (B2+).
