Our client is a leading international tech company with 200+ employees all over the world. The company has established a State Of The Art R&D Center and Tech Hub in Thessaloniki with 30+ colleagues focused on hardware, electronics and mobile software solutions. They are currently aggressively expanding their team and are looking for a Cloud Engineer for Thessaloniki. Our client provides a start-up mindset with time flexibility and the option to work partially from home (hybrid model).

Job description:

  • Manage the deployment and operation of the company’s production systems
  • Manage and develop Azure infrastructure
  • Work together with IT Team defining, setting up and maintaining the company’s Global IT infrastructure
  • Working with the SW Development and the Embedded Systems teams. Apply and grow skills to develop curve-pushing DevOps setups and infrastructure
  • Wide latitude in technology options and ample opportunity to shape the company’s strategy for risk mitigation, including disaster planning and on-call procedures

Candidate profile:

  • Degree in Computer Science or in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Good Knowledge of MCSE Cloud platform and infrastructure and/or MSCE productivity
  • Knowledge of EndPoint Manager (Client – BYOD integration) / Microsoft Defender for Cloud experience
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines ideally in the Azure DevOps environment
  • Knowledge of fundamental Azure building blocks (storage accounts, serverless functions, IAM, VNETs, Front Doors) and security structures/groups
  • Experience working in high-security / high-compliance environments will be a plus
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code software tools (e.g. Terraform), Docker and Kubernetes ideally in Azure is a big plus
  • Knowledge in C++/C will be appreciated
  • Fluent in Greek and English, German is a strong plus
