We are mandated by our client, a Greek construction company with a strong presence in Germany, to build a new HR/Payroll Support team in Leipzig. Therefore we are looking for 3 Greek/German-speaking HR Support Specialists.
Job description:
- Ensure local HR compliance with the applicable employment laws and regulations in Germany
- Act as an HR Advisor and first point of contact to local employees in matters regarding HR policies/procedures, benefits
- Provide assistance to labor law and regulations queries
- Preparing and amending HR database and documents
- Ensuring all employee records are in line with the legal requirements, filed and updated
- Payroll support: Partners with accounting and payroll to maintain the payroll database
- Maintaining employee-related databases
- Implementation and support of corporate HR processes, initiatives and programs at the local level
- From time to time it might be needed to support the office in Cologne
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Psychology/Business Studies or in similar fields
- First working experience within HR environment a big plus
- Good knowledge of German HR regulations and labor law matters a big plus
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of German (C1) and English (verbal and written)
- Excellent computer skills, with full knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Driving License mandatory
- High attention to detail and goal-oriented
- Strong organizational, decision making and conflict-management skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize and work in tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate, collaborate effectively and act as a team member
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills
