We are currently recruiting for a Luxury Hotel and Wellness Resort in Limassol (Cyprus)  an experienced Greek Chef.

Job description:

• Cooking healthy, authentic, fresh Traditional Greek food, with the ability to turn hand to other Mediterranean dishes.
• Kitchen Management and Food Preparation
• Ensuring that all food products are prepared and presented to high standards
• Menu planning, including evening and daytime menus
• Monitoring margins
• Ensuring effective stock control
• Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and operated
• Motivating, managing and training staff to ensure targets and standards are achieved
• Supporting Haccp policies designed to uphold staff welfare, development and training

Job requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 years experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel or luxury restaurant
• Must hold a Degree from a Tourism or Hospitality school/university
• Must have received a training in Haccp
• Expert in authentic Greek Πολίτικη Κουζίνα
• Experience in other Mediterranean cuisines and  fine dining and banqueting will be an advantage
• Be organised and able to plan ahead
• Have experience in the main kitchen
• Must speak Greek. Knowledge of English will be a big advantage.
